DESIGN:
The Xilo table is the result of the pencil of the Altacorte style center. The formal rigidity of the elementary geometries is graced by slight and precious structural interventions inside the base, giving a three-dimensional sensation of the form. The table on display is equipped with an exclusive top with a fossil wood insert of fluvial origin characterized by particular sediments that make it unique in every element thanks to the millenary fossilization of water. Fossil wood extraction operations are carried out manually from the sand and gravel of the riverbeds that have buried and preserved the logs for a period of more than 6,000 years. The oldest trunks are over 8,000 years old and are characterized by very dark color tones. The most relevant peculiarity of fossil wood is the natural uniqueness that characterizes each trunk in terms of intensity of color, design and shades, making each piece different from the other.
